Hear from the Narrow Road Bike Shop Team

Special Thanks to our Partners!

The two bike shops in Zambia are managed by Charles Zulu, one of the oldest students who grew up in our family homes and is now an independent and self-sustaining young adult. We are so proud of how he has grown to become such a leader who takes pride in his work!

Our partner Bikes For Orphans works with various churches and organizations in the U.S. to host bike donation drives. The collected bicycles are shipped directly to Zambia, where those bikes transform the community while making an impact in the lives of the children and mamas in our families. Each shipping container of bikes supplies around 400 bicycles. The older students who work at the bike shops have really gained a sense of dignity and self-worth and are highly regarded in their communities.

If you'd like to partner with us to host a bike drive at your local church, organization, or business, please reach out to our Director of Sustainability, Tamika Simmons, at [email protected]. Thank you!

The Narrow Road Bike Shop

These Business-as-Mission initiatives help provide sustainable income to support ministry operations in Zambia, while teaching the students in the family homes valuable business skills.

The Narrow Road Bike Shop is the name of the bike sales and repair shops in Zambia. The first shop opened for business in October 2016 and the second shop opened an hour away from the first shop in April 2019.

Both bike shops have been very well-received by the community!
